Explore UK Green Lanes with Polaris

It’s an age-old question: Where can you legally ride off-road in the UK?

    The answer? Green Lanes!

Green Lanes are legal roads in the UK, but unlike a typical road, are not covered in tarmac or other hardened coverings. Due to the low footfall of traffic, these roads are usually covered in grass, plants or mud –  hence the term “green” lane.

Chris Moss, a respected freelance motorcycle journalist who has been riding bikes and writing about them for over 25 years, is a seasoned off-roader on two-wheels. Last month, he joined an exclusive Club Polaris member ride-out for a day of green laning, but with a twist: This time, he swapped two wheels for four.

NOTE: Filming of this video fully complied with advice and regulations set by professional bodies in the UK, including the UK industry body, EASI, the Green Laning Code of Conduct and best practise as set out by the Green Lane Association (GLASS), and the environmental and riding recommendations set out by the UK Government. This applies to the UK only.
