Best Riding Practise for ATV / UTV

    15th June, 2021

BEST RIDING PRACTISE FOR ATVs – Polaris Scrambler and Polaris Sportsman

Despite its fun and reassuring aspect due to the stability of the four wheels, it requires good reflexes and dynamic anticipation due to the uneven terrains you may ride on. The position of the body plays an important factor in the turns. To gain a good understanding of the handling on an ATV, it can take a period of time to learn the best way of riding. To help get a head start on this there are tips in the manual guide.

You can always ask your ATV dealer for any advice for the Polaris Scrambler and Polaris Sportsman.

BEST RIDING PRACTISE FOR UTVs – Polaris Ranger, Polaris RZR and Polaris General

Although you might be itching to get out there with your SSV, reading the manual is the best and safest way to understand your vehicle. It is also important to note that before you even begin to ride your UTV to always check the tyres and the tyre pressure, check the oil levels as well as making sure the lights are working properly if you are heading out after dark or in low light conditions.

Contact your local Polaris dealer for any information and queries you may have.

Why not build your riding skills and learn from others as a member of the exclusive Polaris community of recreational riders – Club Polaris? Club Polaris benefits include; an official welcome gift pack, members only content on the official Polaris blog, Polaris Basecamp, and access to Polaris Camp, a fun-filled weekend of riding and entertainment in the UK. Members can also access our private Facebook group, where you can pick up tips from other members and riders.

    Free Easi Training

With every purchase of a new Polaris vehicle, Polaris offers a free comprehensive safety training course for one operator with the European All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute, RRP £180.

    Protective Equipment

There is always a safety risk when riding any quad or side-by-side, so it is important for you and any passengers to wear the right protective gear to help protect you from any injury in a collision or flying debris. A helmet is strongly recommended, even when in a fully enclosed cab, along with eye protection either in the form of goggles or a visor. Gloves can not only protect your hands, but also improve your grip. Long sleeves, trousers and sturdy boots are also good choices when it comes to protective clothing.
