Somerset business wins prestigious Polaris dealer award
A Somerset machinery dealer has been honoured by global ATV and UTV manufacturer Polaris in their annual Dealer Awards.
Stag Environmental, won the coveted Service Dealer Award at the annual Polaris Britain Dealer Awards ceremony.
The business, which is based in Dulverton, from where it covers areas of Devon & Somerset, is purely focused on selling and servicing Polaris vehicles.
Owner Pete Day explains: “Polaris is the UK leader in this sector, and I wanted to offer our customers a more efficient and reliable option. Our whole team is Polaris trained and that means we can efficiently look after our customers and concentrate on giving them the best service and support possible. ‘Superior Product, Superior Support’ is our motto.”

Pete Day established Stag Environmental in 2020 after managing fleets of UTVs on Exmoor for many years.
He explains: “I was working with different products/brands and thought there had to be a better UTV manufacturer, a better way of servicing vehicles, and a better way of looking after customers in a more transparent and traditional way – our customers and their machines are the core of our business.
“I’d never been a machinery dealer before but decided I could (with a strong team) do it better and I turned to Polaris because they were increasing their lead in the sector. We work hard to go above and beyond for our customers, making sure they can continue to get their job done.
“We feel hugely privileged to win the award and its extremely rewarding to have our approach recognised in this way.”
The awards were the culmination of a full day of events that brought the entire dealer network together and marked the launch of the Great Polaris £1m Giveaway. Under the scheme, customers will be able to get up to £5,000 off the price of new Polaris vehicles during 2025, until £1m has been given back to customers.
