Orange Elephant Ice Cream Parlour
Since its launch back in May 2019, the Polaris RANGER® Diesel has been making a big impact on the farming industry, none more so than at the Orange Elephant Ice Cream Parlour, run by the Taverner family at their farm on the outskirts of Exeter.
Well known for its life-size orange elephant located next to the A38 Devon Expressway, Orange Elephant Ice Cream is created onsite, with milk from their own herd of Devonshire milking cows and Friesians.
"...It's been a complete game-changer for me."
After taking delivery back in the summer from their local Polaris dealer, CR Willcocks, Helen Taverner, who also runs the Orange Elephant Ice Cream side of the business, has been enjoying the benefits of Polaris RANGER® Diesel ownership…
“I use it predominantly for my calf rearing, and a few months over the summer for transporting ice cream bits and pieces around, but it’s been a complete game-changer for me. It’s meant that I can do all the driving, I can feed the calves twice a day, put all my kit in, get through the mud. Great! Absolutely brilliant piece of kit.”
The Polaris RANGER® Diesel’s all-round capabilities meant that the Taverner family no longer needed use of both a Landrover and a quad bike: “So now we just take one vehicle, which is this, and it’s fantastic!”
