New Polaris Dealer Announced
Award-winning machinery dealer joins the Polaris network
A Scottish agricultural machinery dealer of the year is crowning a rapid period of growth by joining the dealer network of global ATV and UTV manufacturer Polaris.
Aberdeenshire-based C T Scott, which is headquartered in Insch, has secured the backing of Polaris and will now offer the full range of vehicles as well as providing parts and service support.
The recognition from the Polaris brand follows a meteoric rise which has seen the business grow rapidly after being established in 2016.
In just eight short years, award-winning C T Scott has attracted a wealth of prestigious agricultural brands while growing rapidly to now include two depots and employ nine people.
After being named Machinery Dealer of the Year at the 2023 Scottish Agriculture Awards, C T Scott continues to grow with Polaris.
“We’ve worked hard to make sure we stock premium brands and we wanted to find an ATV and UTV brand to match our offer. We had a few friends and customers who already had a Polaris and spoke very highly of the machines and it seemed like the perfect fit for us. People know and respect the brand and we’ve already had a lot of enquiries. We are constantly working to offer more, to more customers and Polaris will enable us to make sure we have a complete offer for everyone.”
Craig trained as an agricultural mechanic and, after working as a mechanic from his grandfather’s farm, he spotted a gap in the market for sprayers in the region and seized the opportunity to launch his own business.
After starting the business offering NSTS tests, Craig and his wife Emma have rapidly added a range of agricultural brands including Bateman, Agrifac, StocksAg, Spreadpoint, Ag Leader and LandQuip.
In that time, they have developed a wide sales and service offering at two locations as well as creating a farm and country store that supports their local communities and also features a Powered by Kramp shop.
The arrival of Polaris at C T Scott also coincides with the launch of the Great Polaris £1m Giveaway. Under the scheme, customers will be able to get up to £5,000 off the price of new Polaris vehicles during 2025, until £1m has been given back to customers.
Craig adds: “We’ve continued to grow year on year and we keep building on what we offer to make sure we can service the whole community.
“Polaris is the next step in that journey. We were being asked for a quality ATV and UTV brand and we’re confident Polaris will be popular with our customers.
“Plus, with the Great Polaris £1m Giveaway, there’s never been a better time to buy a new Polaris.”
Richard Coleby, Polaris’ national sales manager for the UK and Ireland, said: “C T Scott is quite a new business, but it has come a long way in a very short time. We don’t take signing on a new dealer lightly, but the reputation of C T Scott is excellent and it made it an easy decision.
“We have high standards, and we demand a lot from our dealer network. Polaris customers must get a great experience, and we already know from their existing customers that C T Scott will be a great part of our dealer network.”
