Introducing the 2022 SXS Championship Youth Graduates
Since 2016, the Polaris British SXS Championship has been encouraging and building the skills of young riders with its Youth Championship – one of the first SXS championships in the world to open its tracks to all ages. With a lot of patience from the organisers and sponsors plus rallying inspiration from the young riders themselves, the Polaris British SXS Championship has one of the best youth development programmes in the side-by-side world.
With all ages taking part in the racing series, the championship has grown from strength to strength with more competitors signing up each year, paving the way for fiercer competition than ever before. Last year saw five talented youth riders graduate into the senior class, and they all did remarkably well…
Entering into the senior Rookie 1000 class alongside 27 other competitors, the youth graduate Mack Priestwood took the crown; followed closely behind by his season rival Lewis Scotney. Rio Longdon, another Youth graduate, closed the Rookie 1000 season in 5th, resulting in three of the top five positions in the adult rookie class being taken by the Youth graduates.
It’s the start of a new season with a whole new group of SXS Youth graduates ready to shake up the senior classes!
