    What is an ATV?

    15th June, 2021

An ATV is an all-terrain vehicle. It is designed with four low-pressure tyres and a seat that has been designed to be straddled by the operator, with handle bars for steering. When riding together / with a passenger, riders sit one behind the other with passenger handles for safety.

Polaris offers a range of ATVs all designed with a specific need in mind. The range has been split into: utility, sports and recreation, touring and youth.

ATVs don’t have a one size fits all approach, the industry recommends that riders operate an ATV intended for their age. Polaris Youth ATV has been engineered to travel at slower speeds appropriate for the rider’s age as well as being designed for smaller hands and feet, and smaller in size.
